Lisa Faulkner is a popular model and actress born on 2 January 1973 in England. She attended Tiffin Girls' School, Kingston upon Thames, London, before becoming a model and actress. At the age of sixteen, she lost her mother, Julie, who died of cancer and Lisa Faulkner has always expressed her grief on her mother’s untimely death. In the year 2005, she was married to Chris Coghill, who co-starred with her in the TV series, Burn It. Their marriage took place in Richmond Park, South West London.

 

Lisa Faulkner hit the ramp at a tender age of sixteen, when she was picked up by a modelling scout in a tube station. Since then, she became a popular face in the fashion indutry and shined as a teenage model. Her film career started in the year 1992, when she portrayed Helene Lagonelle in the film The Lover. This film directed by the French film director, Jean-Jacques Annaud, is based on the autobiographical novel by Marguerite Duras, a French writer and film director. Lisa Faulkner also acted in Dangerfield, a British drama series aired on BBC. She played the role of Alison Dangerfield and starred with other popular actors, like Nigel Le Vaillant and Sean Maguire.

In 1994, Lisa Faulkner casted in a British film directed by Justin Hardy called A Feast at Midnight, co-starring Freddie Findlay, Aled Roberts, Andrew Lusher, Christopher Lee, Robert Hardy and Edward Fox. In 1996, she went on to act in And The Beat Goes On, before moving to the small screen in 1998. In the soap opera, Brookside, broadcast in Channel 4, Lisa Faulkner portrayed Louis Hope and went on to play the role of Dr. Victoria Merrick in the BAFTA award-winning serial, Holby City. She was a part of the play till 2001 before the character was killed by a father of a patient, whom she fails to save.

In BBC’s Spooks, an award-winning TV serial, Lisa Faulkner appeared as Helen Flynn, who was tortured to death in the second episode of the first series. Her murder in the serial created disturbance among the viewers, but still remained as a major turning point in the plot of the script. Lisa Faulkner starred in the Murder in Suburbia, a detective British drama, in which she co-starred with actress, Caroline Catz. she acted as a CID policewoman who detects the murder in this TV drama, which was aired on ITV. She was signed by the Red Production Company to play the character of Laura Scammel in its New Street Law, a British legal drama television series.

In June 2008, Lisa Faulkner proved her versatility by becoming a narrator for the second series, Heir Hunters, a reality show that attempts to find the missing heirs before the British treasury takes the money. Lisa Faulkner was named in the "100 sexiest women in the world" list FHM, and stayed in the list for six consecutive years from 1999 to 2004.
